Alameda Health System is seeking a Neurologist for on-call weekend night and day shifts in Oakland, CA. The physician will diagnose and manage diverse neurological conditions, coordinate care, and participate in clinical program development alongside the neurology leadership.

Requirements include MD/DO, CA license, and board certification or eligibility, with advanced fellowship preferred. Salary reflects shift-based pay with comprehensive benefits offered by Alameda Health System.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board certified or eligible in Neurology; advanced fellowship preferred.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and manage patients with neurological disorders in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Develop and maintain clinical programs and patient care delivery models for inpatient neurologic diseases.
• Participate in Division/Department/Hospital committee work and attend monthly meetings.
• Collaborate with Chief of Neurology and curriculum committee to develop residency curriculum.
• Develop inpatient protocols for neurologic emergencies (stroke, status epilepticus).
• Teach and supervise Internal Medicine residents and medical students; provide evaluations and feedback.
• Assist Residency Leadership in curriculum development for Neurology; serve as professional role model.
