Ashton North LLC in Nassau County, NY seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist to join a physician-led group known for clinical excellence and multidisciplinary collaboration. The role offers flexible hours, Monday–Friday, with no call.

The position focuses on outpatient neurology within a respected GI-centered group and emphasizes high-quality patient care, collaboration with specialists, and ongoing medical education.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Neurology (or eligibility with a clear path to certification).
• New York State license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with patient-centered approach to care.
• Proven ability to grow a local clinical practice.
• Entrepreneurial mindset to grow and manage patient base.
• Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical provider delivering high-quality gastroenterology care.
• Conduct detailed clinical assessments with history taking, exams, and interpretation of diagnostics.
• Outpatient-focused role within a multi-specialty group, managing a high-volume patient base.
• Diagnose and manage GI disorders including IBD, IBS, liver disease, motility disorders, biliary diseases.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (pharmacology and lifestyle).
• Perform and interpret colonoscopies and EGDs for early detection and management.
• Maintain accurate EMRs to support workflow and patient safety.
• Collaborate with colorectal surgeons, oncologists, and primary care providers.
• Promote preventive strategies, especially colorectal cancer screening and liver disease management.
• Participate in ongoing medical education and clinical practice improvement.
