Job summary

Sora Resource Group is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist to join a physician-led group in Nassau County, Long Island. The role emphasizes outpatient care within a multidisciplinary team, with competitive compensation and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible in Neurology with NY licensure or eligibility.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach to care.
• Proven ability to maintain and grow a local clinical practice.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to grow and manage a thriving patient base.
• Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key clinical provider in the delivery of high-quality, comprehensive GI care.
• Conduct detailed clinical assessments with thorough history taking, exams, and data interpretation.
• Outpatient-focused role within a multi-specialty group, managing a high-volume patient population.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of GI disorders including IBD, IBS, liver disease, and biliary tract diseases.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating pharmacological interventions and lifestyle modifications.
• Perform and interpret screening and diagnostic procedures (e.g., colonoscopies and EGDs).
• Maintain accurate EMRs to support workflow and safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams including surgeons, oncologists, and PCPs.
• Promote preventive health strategies with emphasis on colorectal cancer screening and liver disease management.
• Engage in ongoing medical education and practice improvement.
