Job summary

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor in Family and Community Medicine within the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine. The role emphasizes high-quality patient care, resident and medical student teaching, and scholarly activity in a dynamic academic environment.

We seek MDs or DOs who are board eligible or certified, with licensure eligibility in Nevada.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited college/university.
• Board eligible or board certified with certification expected within the first two years of employment.
• Eligible for an unrestricted Nevada medical license, Nevada DEA license, and malpractice insurance.
• Credentials must be obtained prior to the employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical care in Family and Community Medicine.
• Educate and mentor residents and medical students in an academic setting.
• Engage in scholarly activity and contribute to departmental education and research.
• Participate in credentialing, quality improvement, and community health initiatives.
