Position Overview

UPMC Western Maryland is seeking a BE/BC general neurosurgeon to join our highly skilled team in Cumberland, MD.

Practice Highlights

• Case mix: 80% spine and 20% cranial
• Call schedule: 1:3 with PA’s assisting with first call
• Anticipated volume: ~150 cases in the first year, increasing to 250+ once established
• Level 3 trauma designation
• Support staff: Mid-level support with a PA or NP for OR assistance, clinic, rounding, and call coverage
• Equipment: State-of-the-art including Mobias Imaging Airo TruCT Mobile CT System
