Michigan Medicine is seeking an experienced Neurological Physical Therapist to join our outpatient team in Ann Arbor, MI. The role focuses on adults with stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury and other neurologic conditions, delivering evidence-based care to restore function and participation.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, implement plans of care, use outcome measures like Berg Balance Scale and TUG, and contribute to program development and quality improvement.

Qualifikationen

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Michigan with DPT or equivalent.
• Completion of accredited PT program and clinical internship.
• Primary Source Verification required.
• Experience in outpatient neurological rehab and evidence-based practice.

Aufgaben

• Provide comprehensive PT evaluation and treatment in outpatient neurology.
• Develop individualized plans of care aligned with patient goals.
• Address gait, balance, strength, and mobility with evidence-based techniques.
• Collaborate with physicians, OT, SLP and the rehab team for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on prognosis and home programs.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans of care accordingly.
• Contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and support junior staff within the outpatient neuro team.
• Engage in continuous professional development and interdisciplinary learning.
