Mary Washington Healthcare in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a fellowship-trained Neurointerventional Surgeon to join a comprehensive stroke program. The role combines daytime outpatient clinic duties with 24/7 neurointerventional call coverage for acute stroke and emergent cerebrovascular care.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team with neurology, neurosurgery, and radiology, enjoy access to advanced imaging and endovascular technology, and have opportunities for teaching and academic

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board certification or eligibility in neurology, neurosurgery, or radiology.
• Fellowship in neurointerventional surgery or endovascular neurosurgery.
• Eligible for Virginia medical licensure.
• DEA certification or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic cerebral angiography and endovascular interventions.
• Evaluation and treatment of ischemic stroke and cerebrovascular disease.
• Outpatient consultation and longitudinal patient management.
• Interpretation of advanced neurovascular imaging.
• Multidisciplinary collaboration across neurosciences, emergency medicine, critical care, and rehabilitation services.
• Participation in quality initiatives, education, and program development.
