Job Requirements Advance Your Career in Neurointerventional RadiologyUniversity of Maryland Capital Region Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing neuroscience team with a primary focus in Neurointerventional Radiology (NIR).This is an exciting opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary neuroscience program supporting neurointerventional radiology, neurosurgery, neurocritical care, and elective neurosurgical services.The primary schedule for this position consists of Neurointerventional Radiology day shifts, providing an opportunity to build specialized expertise while collaborating closely with physicians, APPs, nurses, and other neuroscience professionals.You'll also receive training across the neuroscience team and may have opportunities to provide cross-coverage within other APP service lines in the specialty, expanding your clinical knowledge and procedural experience.

You’ll work alongside a multifaceted team caring for patients across Neurointerventional Radiology, Neurocritical Care, Neurosurgery, and elective neurosurgical services.
While your primary responsibility will be Neurointerventional Radiology day coverage, you’ll be trained to support the broader neuroscience team.Based on training, clinical needs, and scheduling requirements, you may also have opportunities to provide cross-coverage for other APP service lines within the specialty, separate from your regularly required shifts.This collaborative model provides an opportunity to broaden your clinical expertise while supporting comprehensive neuroscience coverage across UM Capital Region Health.

Providers are expected to maintain applicable continuing education requirements, including 50 hours of Category I CME every two years, 32 hours of trauma‑related CME, and 16 hours of stroke‑related CME, as required for the position.
Compensation is commensurate with clinical experience.
