Job summary

UNLV invites applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar in Neuroimaging within the School of Integrated Health Sciences. The successful candidate will work on MRI-based research, mentor students, and contribute to manuscript preparation and grant writing.

Reporting to the Assistant Professor and collaborating with the UMIC core team, the scholar will develop pipelines, analyze data, and advance brain-imaging methodologies in a vibrant, interdisciplinary environment at UNLV.

Qualifications

• PhD in psychology, neuroscience, MR physics, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Strong programming skills in Python and MATLAB.
• Proficiency in English and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct MRI research aligned with the PI's program.
• Mentor graduate and undergraduate students in the group.
• Lead manuscript writing, data analysis, and grant proposal support.
• Develop and implement MRI data processing and data management procedures.
• Contribute to teaching and collaboration within UMIC.
