Job summary

Monument Health Rapid City Hospital is seeking a Neurohospitalist to join an established inpatient group. This hospital-employed role features 182 shifts per year at a Level II Trauma Center with a 417-bed campus and a large medical staff.

The position offers a base salary of $371,000 with productivity bonuses, starting and retention bonuses up to $174,000, relocation and moving allowance, CME reimbursement, malpractice coverage, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology.
• Experience with inpatient neurology care is preferred.
• Familiarity with stroke protocols and neurocritical care is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient neurology care as part of the hospitalist group.
• Respond to stroke and neurocritical events, coordinating with neurointerventional teams.
• Collaborate with neurosurgery and specialty services to optimize patient outcomes.

Monument Health Rapid City Hospital is looking for a full-time Neurohospitalist.

We are looking for a Neurohospitalist to join a well-established inpatient group practice. This is a fulfilling hospital-employed position in a collegial group environment, with an emphasis on work-life balance.This physician will work 182 shifts annually at Monument Health Rapid City Hospital, which is a 417-bed tax-exempt regional tertiary referral, Level II Trauma Center with a medical staff of almost 500 providers.

Generally, 2 Neurohospitalists are on service at a time, alternating night call and stroke call. Supported by excellent 24/7/365 Neurointerventional and neurosurgical services. Consulting service only — all patients are admitted to the hospitalist or intensivist services. EEG reads done by Epileptologists in less than 24 hours.

Base salary of $371K. Productivity bonus incentive opportunities start from day one. Starting and retention bonuses of up to $174K. Other benefits include paid relocation and moving allowance, CME reimbursement, paid malpractice, and a full benefits package.
