RRC Solutions Group in Mattoon, IL is seeking a Neuro-Hospitalist for a full-time, inpatient role in a stroke-ready community hospital. The position features a 7-on/7-off cadence (Tuesday–Monday), a guaranteed base salary, night telemedicine support, and a collaborative hospital environment designed for a predictable acute care practice.

The role requires BC/BE in Neurology, an active IL license or eligibility, and a seamless ability to provide inpatient consultations, ED coverage during daytime

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited program.
• Neurology Residency completed.
• Board Certification or eligibility in Neurology (BC/BE).
• Active, unrestricted Illinois license or immediate eligibility.
• DEA registration.
• Strong clinical judgment and independence as primary inpatient physician.

Responsabilités

• Provide inpatient neurological consultations and acute care management.
• Lead inpatient neuro-hospitalist service as solo on-duty provider during block.
• Provide ED coverage and consultations 7:00 AM–7:00 PM.
• Utilize a round-and-go model; leave campus after rounds, return for acute cases until 7 PM.
• Benefit from night teleneurology coverage for inpatient and ER needs.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation for admissions and rounds.

Compensation: $435,000 annually

Job Type: Full-Time | 7-On / 7-Off (Tuesday – Monday) | "Round and Go" Flexibility

Location: Mattoon, Illinois

We have partnered closely with a premier regional healthcare facility to recruit a full-time, Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) Neuro-Hospitalist. This inpatient-only position offers an exceptional quality of life, featuring a highly desirable 7-on/7-off scheduling cadence, night-time telemedicine support, and a highly manageable, low-census clinical pace. Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated inpatient neurological consultations and acute care management within a stroke-ready community hospital facility.
• Lead inpatient neuro-hospitalist services as the solo on-duty provider during your scheduled block, managing a highly comfortable and consistently low patient census.
• Provide Emergency Department coverage and consultations during daytime hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Utilize a flexible "round and go" clinical model, allowing you to leave campus once daily rounds are complete, remaining available to return in person for acute presentations until 7:00 PM.
• Benefit from seamless continuity of care with a dedicated night-time teleneurology service that completely covers all inpatient and ER needs from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely electronic medical records for all inpatient admissions, daily rounding, and consultations.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
• Successful completion of an accredited Neurology Residency program
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Neurology
• Active, unrestricted Illinois state medical license (or immediate eligibility to obtain)
• Valid DEA registration
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently as the primary inpatient specialist during active shift blocks
