## Neurodiagnostics Technician Sr / SEIU - EApply: On-site: Pittsburgh PA, 15212, 320 E N Ave.: Full time: Posted Today: J287282## **Company :**Allegheny Health Network## **Job Description :****GENERAL OVERVIEW**Performs routine and complex neurodiagnostic testing on all patients as ordered.**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES*** Performs clinical neurodiagnostic procedures including all electroencephalograms, routine and portable electrocerebral silence, 24-hr ambulatory EEG's, EMG/NVC testing, in accordance with the clinical practice guidelines established by the American Society of Electro neurodiagnostic Technologists (ASET) and departmental policies/procedures. (40%)* Keeps equipment clean and in operating condition, detects instrument malfunction, makes minor adjustments or reports need for major repairs. (20%)* Demonstrates leadership, technical, and analytical skills for decision making. (15%)* Participates in department projects, initiatives, data collection, audits, quality improvements, and continuing education. (15%)* Guides new employees through an effective training curriculum to ensure successful integration and performance (5%)* Completes all charges according to department guidelines.
