Job summary

Sanford Health in Fargo, ND is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to join our team. You will perform intraoperative monitoring, evoked potentials, nerve conduction, and/or EEG testing across diverse patient populations, contributing to high-quality patient care.

You'll work with specialized neurodiagnostic equipment, maintain knowledge of neuroanatomy and physiology, and participate in a strong, collaborative care environment at one of the nation’s leading rural health systems.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or its equivalent is required.
  • Graduated from an approved program of Electroneurodiagnostic Technology (ENDT) or similar education is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six weeks of employment and re-certification as necessary is required.

Responsibilities

  • May perform intraoperative monitoring, evoked potentials, nerve conduction, and/or electroencephalography (EEG) testing for all patient populations.
  • Understand the testing equipment, including its structure, indications for use, physiological effect upon the patient, and basic maintenance procedures.
  • Possess working knowledge of the disease and pathological conditions encountered.

Qualifications

High school diploma or its equivalent is required. Graduated from an approved program of Electroneurodiagnostic Technology (ENDT) or similar education is preferred. Completion of department approved training program is required.

Working knowledge of neuroanatomy, physiology, basic electronics and electrical safety, general knowledge of electroencephalography (EEG) and evoked potentials (EP) instrumentation, pattern recognition, and various medical and pharmacological conditions is preferred. Experience in area of specialty or applicable health care experience is preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six weeks of employment and re-certification as necessary is required.
