Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. seeks a Neurodiagnostic Technologist Level 1 to perform standard and complex Neurodiagnostic procedures under moderate supervision.

You will support the Neurodiagnostic Lab and Epilepsy Unit while providing training to students and ensuring accurate documentation. Required are a High School diploma or GED, ability to follow verbal instructions, and strong written and verbal communication, plus computer literacy.

Responsibilities

The Neurodiagnostic Technologist Level 1 performs standard and complex Neurodiagnostic procedures for patients with moderate supervision as directed according to established standards and practices. Provides technical assistance and training to students. Completes all necessary documentation for departmental records and patient procedures. Supports all functions, goals, and objectives of the department as well as development of any new programs that involve the Neurodiagnostic Lab and Epilepsy Unit.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Demonstrates the ability to follow verbal instructions.
• Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing .
• Working knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft or Google productivity suite.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Associate's Degree in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology or equivalent

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
• Eligible for ABRET registration.
