Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist Level 1 in Neptune Township, NJ. This role involves performing both standard and complex Neurodiagnostic procedures under moderate supervision and providing training to students. Candidates should hold a High School diploma and be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Required certifications include AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification and eligibility for ABRET registration. Qualifications

The Neurodiagnostic Technologist Level 1 performs standard and complex Neurodiagnostic procedures for patients with moderate supervision as directed according to established standards and practices. Provides technical assistance and training to students. Completes all necessary documentation for departmental records and patient procedures. Supports all functions, goals, and objectives of the department as well as development of any new programs that involve the Neurodiagnostic Lab and Epilepsy Unit.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• 1. High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• 2. Demonstrates the ability to follow verbal instructions.
• 3. Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing .
• 4. Working knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft or Google productivity suite.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• 1. Associate's Degree in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology or equivalent

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• 1. AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
• 2. Eligible for ABRET registration.
