Work Location: Orange, California

Work Shift: Day – 10hrs (United States of America)

Job Summary:

The Lead Neurodiagnostic Technologist performs diagnostic studies on infants and children, including equipment calibration and setup, and processes documentation for accurate physician reporting. This role includes distributing workload and overseeing staff.

Pay Range: Minimum $41.47, Midpoint $54.95, Maximum $68.43

Rate determined by knowledge, skills, experience, education, and requirements.

Experience:

  • Required: Minimum five (5) years of pediatric patient care in a hospital setting.
  • Preferred: Over six (6) years pediatric experience; supervisory experience highly preferred.

Education:

  • Required: High School Diploma/GED and completion of Neurodiagnostic program or EEG Laboratory experience.
  • Preferred: Associate degree, accredited Neurodiagnostic program, and management courses.

Training: None required.

Specialized Skills:

  • Teamwork, patience with pediatric patients, excellent communication, interpersonal skills, analytical and organizational skills, critical thinking, computer literacy, attention to detail, and composure in stressful situations.
  • Preferred: Bilingual in English/Spanish.

Licensure:

  • Required: BLS certification; Registered EEG Technologist.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Medium to high energy level; lifting 40-50 lbs; pushing/pulling 150-200 lbs; various physical activities and sensory requirements as detailed in the original description.
