Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist Level 2 to perform standard and complex neurodiagnostic procedures under limited supervision, following established standards and practices. You will provide training and documentation for departmental records, supporting the Epilepsy Unit and advancing new programs.

The role involves EEGs, Video EEGs, Evoked Potentials, seizure support, and teamwork with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Neurodiagnostic Tech Program.
• At least 1 year experience in electroneurodiagnostic technology.
• Demonstrates the ability to follow verbal instructions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Place electrodes using the 10-20 system and maintain impedance levels.
• Perform standard EEGs according to protocols across various settings.
• Conduct Video EEG Long Term Monitoring and ensure electrode integrity.
• Perform Evoked Potentials according to ACNS guidelines.
• Provide care during seizures and document clinical observations.
• Collaborate with team members and physicians to ensure quality patient care.
• Follow departmental protocols and maintain equipment and records.
• Engage in continuing education and maintain safety and infection control.
