Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Neurodiagnostic Technologist Level 2 to perform standard and complex neurodiagnostic procedures with limited supervision. You will train ABRET-eligible technologists and maintain accurate documentation, supporting the Epilepsy Unit and Neurodiagnostic Lab initiatives.

The role covers electrode placement, routine EEGs, video EEGs, evoked potentials, and seizure support, with emphasis on data quality and teamwork within the department.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Neurodiagnostic Tech Program.
• At least 1 year experience in electroneurodiagnostic technology.
• Demonstrates the ability to follow verbal instructions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include MS Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the International 10-20 Electrode Placement system to apply electrodes to scalp.
• Performs standard EEG recordings according to protocols.
• Produces Video EEG Long Term Monitoring recordings and manages data.
• Performs Evoked Potentials per ACNS guidelines.
• Provides patient care and observes during seizures and emergencies.
