Essentia Health in Duluth, MN is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to perform standard EEG examinations and nerve conduction studies under a Neurologist. The role requires preparing patients, selecting testing modalities, and documenting results accurately while ensuring safety and quality.

Applicants should have an Associate's degree or higher and BCLS certification, with prior EEG/NCV experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous EEG and NCV experience in hospital or ambulatory care preferred.
• Associate's degree or higher in Neurodiagnostic Technology required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for tests and explains procedures to patients and families.
• Determines testing extent and records data for physician interpretation.
• Assists with interpretation of neurodiagnostic test results under supervision.
• Maintains quality control, calibrates equipment, and follows safety procedures.
• Maintains neurodiagnostic equipment and supplies and ensures readiness.
• Provides patient care and supports patients throughout testing.
• Calibrates, operates, and performs routine EEG/EMG maintenance.
