Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited EEG or Neurodiagnostic Technology program.
• 1–2 years of experience performing EEG and/or NCV testing preferred.
• Strong understanding of neurophysiology, electrical safety, and diagnostic procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and compassionate patient care.
• Experience in multispecialty or neurology-focused clinical settings.
• Additional certifications (e.g., CPT, CLTM, NCS specialization) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain EEG equipment per physician orders.
• Apply scalp electrodes correctly with secure placement and signal quality.
• Conduct EEG tests, monitor patients, and ensure comfort and safety during procedures.
• Identify and document abnormalities in EEG recordings and prepare detailed reports for physician interpretation.
• Educate patients on EEG procedures and address questions or concerns.
• Record and update patient medical histories related to neurodiagnostic procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of testing rooms and equipment.
• Stay informed about advancements in neurodiagnostic testing, techniques, and equipment.
