Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to perform high-quality neurodiagnostic procedures across sites. You will prepare patients, ensure accurate documentation, and support physicians with precise testing while adhering to ACNS guidelines.

The role requires independent work, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication with clinical staff. Flexibility to cross-cover sites and shifts is expected in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or enrollment in a neurodiagnostic program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality neurodiagnostic procedures following policy and ACNS guidelines.
• Prepare patient for testing per policy/procedure.
• Provide direct patient care and support as directed; document accurately.
• Adhere to all policies, participate in mandatory programs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete clerical tasks.
• Demonstrate professional behavior and effective communication with physicians, staff and public.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Must include accurate patient measurements and electrode application following the \"International System of Electrode Placement\" precise recordings, proper adjustment of equipment and testing procedures to reflect patient need and/or clinical physiology, enabling physician to make proper interpretation of study. Examples: Push/pull patients on bed, stretcher (requires 29 lbs. push force), lateral transfers up to 50 lbs. of the patient's weight. Frequent to continuous standing/walking.
