Job summary

UNC Health in Chapel Hill, NC seeks a Neurodiagnostic Tech to perform standard and complex electroneurodiagnostic tests in the Clinical Neurophysiology Lab and polysomnography in the Sleep Disorders Lab. Per diem and full-time options available.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA or CAAHEP accredited Sleep or Neurodiagnostics program (or equivalent experience).
• Current licensure/certification in EEG/EP/Polysomnography (RST or similar).
• CNIM or Intra-Operative Monitoring experience preferred for higher level.
• Minimum experience varies by Tech II/III level; see posting for details.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex electroneurodiagnostic tests in the Clinical Neurophysiology Lab.
• Conduct polysomnographic testing in the Sleep Disorders Lab and related monitoring.
• Work may occur in lab, clinic, patient bedside, or operating room.

EEG/EP/Polysomnography Licensure (CAAHEP/AMA accredited)

NCV (Nerve Conduction Velocity)

Registered Sleep Technologist (RST)
