Job summary

Scripps Health in San Diego is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Tech for a full-time, benefitted role. The 8-hour shift starts at 7:30am with no weekend work, and the position is based in Torrey Pines with potential to float to Rancho Bernardo.

You will perform EEG, LTM, EMU, EMG, NCV, and EP using standard protocols and assist with long-term monitoring under supervision, while handling patient prep, transporting equipment, charges, and inventory.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in neurodiagnostic procedures including EEG, LTM, EMU, EMG, NCV, EP.
• Ability to prepare patients and assist with monitoring.
• Experience with entering patient charges and inventory management.

The Neurodiagnostic Tech performs neurodiagnostic procedures which may include EEG, LTM, EMU, EMG, NCV, EP utilizing standard protocols supported by the American Society of Electro neurodiagnostic Technologists. They may assist with long term monitoring under guidance and/or supervision of Long Term Monitoring Tech and/or Lead Monitoring tech. Responsible for patient preparation, equipment transportation, entering patient charges, and maintaining supply inventory.
