Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist Level 1 to perform standard and complex Neurodiagnostic procedures with moderate supervision, and to provide training to students while maintaining accurate departmental records.

The role includes electrode placement, routine EEGs, video EEGs, evoked potentials, and seizure support, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Electrode placement using the International 10-20 system.
• Perform standard EEGs including awake/asleep, pediatric, neonatal, and other protocols.
• Perform Video EEG Long Term Monitoring per department protocols.
• Perform Evoked Potentials per ACNS guidelines.
• Provide care during seizures and notify physicians during events.
• Maintain professional relations with patients, families, and team members.
• Follow departmental protocols and policy manuals.
• Maintain and inspect neurodiagnostic equipment.
• Pursue annual continuing education and CME activities.
