Job summary

Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Tech Assistant to support the Epilepsy Center and Clinical Neurophysiology teams. You will help acquire routine and video EEG data, report patient concerns, and prepare rooms and equipment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and participation in the ASET EEG training modules, with progression toward the Neurodiagnostic Technologist role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Minimum of one year of college coursework.
• Prior experience as CNA/Medical Assistant/EKG Tech preferred.
• Basic computer skills, Windows OS familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Assist Neurodiagnostic Techs with routine/video EEG data acquisition.
• Report patient concerns or changes to ND Technologists.
• Disconnect and clean equipment after studies; restock supplies.
• Work cooperatively to meet unit and hospital goals.
• Complete EEG training modules (ASET) and related competencies.
