Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Tech Assistant to support EEG data collection and patient care in the Epilepsy Center and Clinical Neurophysiology areas.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and participation in an intensive EEG training program, including ASET modules. Pay is competitive with comprehensive benefits and a focus on high-quality pediatric care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of one year of college coursework.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a CNA, Medical Assistant, EKG Technician, or other Allied Health professional preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Neurodiagnostic Techs with the acquisition of routine and video EEG data.
• Report patient concerns or changes in condition to the ND Technologists.
• Disconnect patients from electrodes and clean equipment after studies.
• Restock supplies and clean equipment according to policy.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve unit and hospital goals.
• Complete EEG 200-211 courses through the ASET program.
• Uphold service principles with a focus on innovation, service excellence and teamwork.
