Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Neurophysiology Technician to perform routine and complex EEG, evoked potentials, and sleep studies under supervision at authorized labs. You will operate EEG and evoked potential equipment, schedule tests, and record data to support neurological diagnoses.

The position requires an associate degree in biological or physiological sciences and National Board Registration in EEG, Evoked Potential or Polysomnography.

Qualifications

• Requires associate degree in biological or physiological sciences or equivalent experience.
• National Board Registration in EEG, Evoked Potential, or Polysomnography.
• Minimum one year of experience in neurology-related diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Operates EEG and evoked potential equipment to record brain waves and nervous system responses.
• Schedules and conducts electroencephalographic, evoked potential and sleep tests.
• Maintains equipment and ensures data accuracy and patient safety.
• Interacts with patients to explain procedures and alleviate concerns.
