Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an EEG Technologist to obtain standard and special EEG recordings and monitor related physiological phenomena using appropriate techniques and instrumentation.

Responsibilities include intraoperative monitoring, electrode placement and removal, and providing first aid as needed. The role also covers equipment upkeep, data storage, and supporting residents, physicians, and technicians within the lab.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; vocational/technical neurodiagnostic training preferred.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access) and other web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Records physiological data from patients undergoing routine, sleep, and special EEG procedures.
• Performs intraoperative monitoring including electrocorticography and WADA procedures, electrode application and removal.
• Provides first aid for electrophysiological patients as needed.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and laboratory spaces; manages data storage.
• Acts as a resource for residents, physicians and technicians, offering guidance as needed.
