The Neurodiagnostic Assistant (NDA) monitors patients undergoing continuous Electroencephalograms for safety. The NDA has knowledge of monitoring systems and camera controls.

The NDA alerts the Neurodiagnostic Technologist when clinical seizures or paroxysmal events occur however, the NDA is not qualified to analyze EEG data. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent with completion of the ASET online course (LTM 100) and at least 20 hours of observation in Epilepsy Monitoring

Formación

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of the ASET online course; LTM 100, titles introduction to LTM for EMU personnel.
  • First year of accredited Neurodiagnostic Program completed.
  • No less than 20 hours of observation in Epilepsy Monitoring Units or Neurodiagnostic Laboratory under the direction of a credentialed Neurodiagnostic Technologist.

Pay Range

Minimum $23.00 Midpoint $26.41 Maximum $29.81 Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.

  • Required: No less than 20 hours of observation in Epilepsy Monitoring Units or Neurodiagnostic Laboratory under the direction of a credentialed Neurodiagnostic Technologist.
