Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a dedicated candidate for the role of EEG Monitor. The successful applicant will support continuous EEG and video monitoring, ensuring patient safety and effective communication with clinical staff.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and possess a working knowledge of monitoring systems. The position involves working evening shifts and may require physical demands like lifting and documentation.
Supports continuous EEG and video monitoring by observing patients, recognizing clinical events, and promptly alerting clinical staff to ensure timely response and accurate documentation. Maintains patient safety, assists technologists, and supports high‑quality neurodiagnostic care. Evening shift.
High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
Working knowledge of monitoring system and camera controls.
Occasionally: Blood and/or Bodily Fluids, Decision Making, Interpreting Data, Lifting / Carrying: 61-100 lbs, Problem solving, Pushing / Pulling: 100 lbs or greater with assistance.
