Job summary

Blackbird Health in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Diagnostic Clinician to join our hybrid clinical team. The role blends neurodevelopmental diagnostic evaluations with ongoing psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and young adults, with flexibility to tailor the mix based on needs and clinician strengths.

You will conduct evaluations (e.g., autism assessments), synthesize data, provide feedback, and collaborate with psychiatrists, speech therapists, and other specialists.

Qualifications

• Licensed PsyD in PA with ability to diagnose pediatric populations.
• Strong clinical writing and documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary care model.
• Experience balancing multiple clinical responsibilities and complex schedules.

Responsibilities

• Conduct neurodevelopmental diagnostic evaluations including autism spectrum assessments (e.g., ADOS‑2, ASRS, CARS).
• Analyze, interpret, and synthesize assessment data into clear, clinically sound diagnostic conclusions.
• Provide feedback to clients and families following evaluations.
• Manage the diagnostic schedule and time for report writing.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to create integrated treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence‑based psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and young adults.
