Job summary

Blackbird Health is seeking a Diagnostic Clinician to join a flexible hybrid team delivering neurodevelopmental evaluations and psychotherapy to children and adolescents. The role balances diagnostic assessments with therapy hours, tailored to patient demand and clinician strengths.

Clinicians partner with interdisciplinary teams to provide whole-child care, complete timely documentation, and maintain strong therapeutic relationships with families.

Qualifications

• Independently licensed PsyD in PA.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
• Strong clinical writing and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care model.
• Comfort managing complex schedules and balancing multiple clinical responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct neurodevelopmental diagnostic evaluations, including autism spectrum evaluations.
• Analyze, interpret, and synthesize assessment data into clear diagnostic conclusions.
• Complete progress notes for evaluations within 24 hours of services.
• Provide clear, compassionate feedback to clients and families after evaluations.
• Communicate evaluation findings and next steps to the care team.
• Participate in weekly department and team meetings with clinical input.
• Manage all aspects of the diagnostic schedule, including assessments and rescheduling.
• Report weekly diagnostic productivity as required.
• Participate in training and supervision to expand diagnostic skills.
