Job description

Neurodevelopmental Child Neurologist

The Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, MD is searching for a board eligible and/or certified Neurodevelopmental Child Neurologist to serve as faculty in the Center for Development and Learning. The Center provides diagnostic evaluations and management of children and adolescents with developmental, language, learning, social skills, attention, or school adjustment problems. The faculty member participates in an interdisciplinary clinical team that drives the Center’s clinical, training, and research missions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including diagnostic evaluation and management of neurodevelopmental disorders in children and adolescents.
  • Teach medical trainees (residents, fellows, etc.) regarding neurodevelopmental assessment and treatment.
  • Coordinate care with speech and language pathologists, neuropsychologists, behavioral psychologists, child psychiatrists, neurogeneticists, genetic counselors, and social workers to ensure individualized, comprehensive evaluation and recommendations.
  • Contribute to interdisciplinary evaluations and recommendations for monitoring and treatment.

  • Strong clinical experience managing neurodevelopmental disorders in pediatric population.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
