Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN/AACN accredited nursing program.
• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Proven clinical competency maintained through ongoing clinical practice and continuing education.
• Experience in a relevant patient care setting (or as regulations dictate).

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents accurate, complete history and physical assessments.
• Orders, performs, and interprets laboratory tests and diagnostics in collaboration with physicians.
• Prescribes medications safely and effectively with patient education.
• Promotes APN practice recognition through conferences, publications, and presentations.
• Provides patient- and family-centered care; adheres to policies and standards.
