Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center’s Luciano Family Trauma and Acute Care Center is seeking a Per Diem Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) to join the neurocritical care team. The role involves medical management of critically ill neuro patients under supervision and a flexible 24-hour coverage model.

The APP will provide care under the neuro ICU attending, participate in research and quality initiatives, and support the multidisciplinary team with patient and family communication.

Qualifikationen

• Provide clinical management for neurocritical care patients under supervision of the neuro ICU attending.
• Be capable of 24-hour coverage with a minimum of two shifts per month.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and support clinical research and quality improvement.

Aufgaben

• Obtain health histories and perform neuro and physical examinations; document findings; order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Formulate and implement treatment plans with the multi-disciplinary team.
• Assess changes in patient status and initiate stabilization interventions.
• Provide family-centered care by communicating with families about health care needs.
• Support IRB-approved clinical research/trials and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Serve as a clinical expert and leadership consultant to nursing and health care team members.
• Participate in clinical research activities and contribute to team education.
