Job summary

Atlantic Health System seeks a Per Diem Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) for Neurocritical Care at Morristown Medical Center. The APP will manage critically ill neuro patients under supervision, with a flexible two-shift per month requirement and a 24-hour coverage model among APPs.

Qualifications include NP/PA Master’s, NJ license, ACLS/BLS, ENLS preferred, and 1–2 years in neurocritical care. Join a multidisciplinary team with growth and mentorship opportunities in a Level I trauma

Qualifications

• Master's degree in PA or NP from an accredited program
• Current NJ license or eligibility to practice
• ACLS and BLS required; ENLS preferred

Responsibilities

• Obtain neuro histories and perform comprehensive exams
• Develop and adjust treatment plans with the multidisciplinary team
• Monitor neuro-critical patients and escalate care as needed
• Provide family-centered communication and education
• Support clinical research and quality improvement activities
• Serve as a clinical expert and mentor to staff and students
