Job summary

The Neuroanesthesia and Perioperative Neurosciences Division at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine seeks a faculty member to deliver expert perioperative care for neurosurgical and neurointerventional patients across UM Hospital and affiliated centers. The role combines clinical, educational, and research responsibilities.

Candidates should have US-trained anesthesiology residency and fellowship in neuroanesthesiology, board eligibility/certification, and a record of collaboration

Qualifications

• Completion of a US‑accredited residency in Anesthesiology.
• Minimum of one year Neuroanesthesiology fellowship or equivalent training.
• Board eligibility or certification in Anesthesiology required.
• Research experience is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality clinical care for neurosurgical and neurointerventional patients.
• Engage in academic activity including clinical/basic research and medical education.
• Supervise residents, fellows, CRNAs, and SRNAs.
• Teach and mentor trainees and participate in departmental conferences.
• Occasional general anesthesia cases as needed.
