Job summary

The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative Medicine and Pain Management seeks exceptional General Anesthesiologists to join the faculty as full-time, research-inspired clinicians and educators.

Candidates should have completed a US approved residency in Anesthesiology and hold Board Eligibility or Certification; research experience is desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• Completed a US approved residency in Anesthesiology.
• Board Eligibility or Certification in Anesthesiology is required.
• Research experience is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform anesthesia across a wide range of cases including orthopedics, GYN, obstetrics, abdominal, vascular and kidney transplant.
• Supervise residents, CRNAs, and SRNAs.
• Participate in teaching, mentoring, departmental conferences and faculty meetings.
• Participate in on-call duties with 3–4 overnight calls per month; some calls may be from home; evenings and weekends may be required.
