Job summary

The University of Miami is seeking a Neuro Anesthesiologist to join the faculty within the Neuro Anesthesia and Perioperative Neurosciences Division at UMMSOM. You will provide perioperative care across affiliated hospitals with multidisciplinary collaboration among neurosurgery and orthopedic services.

The role emphasizes clinical excellence, teaching residents and fellows, and active participation in academic activities, including conferences and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Completed a US-approved residency in Anesthesiology.
• Minimum of one year Neuro-anesthesiology fellowship or equivalent training/certification.
• Board Eligibility or Certification in Anesthesiology is required.
• Research experience is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical care in neurosurgical and neuro-interventional cases.
• Teach and supervise residents, fellows, CRNAs, and SRNAs.
• Engage in department's academic activities, conferences, and faculty meetings.
• Possibly perform general anesthesia cases as department needs.
