Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required.
• One of: 1 year direct patient care experience, CNA license in Georgia, nursing program with 2 clinical rotations, or completion of a nursing assistant training course.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned patient care and observation duties under the direction of an RN/LPN, including patient room cleaning and equipment operation.
• Communicates with patients, families and the patient care team.
• Maintains hospital/unit competencies and supports patient comfort and safety.
• Assists with admission, transfer and discharge processes and with emergencies as directed by RN/LPN.
