Job summary

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice; compact licenses must be transferred within 60 days of start date.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain BSN within four years of hire date.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• BSN is required as of the last update; earlier hires may be grandfathered under previous requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, social, and psychological status; gather information from the interdisciplinary team.
• Plan an individualized care plan with patient involvement and family education.
• Implement planned care by coordinating the care team and resources.
• Evaluate patient responses and revise the care plan as needed.
• Demonstrate professionalism by adhering to standards, documentation, and ethical/legal responsibilities.
