Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide general patient care under the supervision of an LPN or RN in the Neuro Trauma unit at ORMC. You will assist with hygiene, mobility, daily activities, and support admission, transfer, and discharge processes.

This dayshift, 3x12-hour schedule offers comprehensive benefits starting on day one and opportunities for growth within the Orlando Health system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with hygiene, mobility, hydration, and nutrition needs.
• Provide routine treatments and maintain a safe, clean patient environment.
• Support nurses with admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rates as directed.
• Maintain patient privacy and safety, and communicate concerns to the RN.
