Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year ICU experience required.
• RN license active and unencumbered.
• BLS certification required by AHA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physiological and psychosocial needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, revising as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per orders and protocol.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and communicate effectively.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the medical record.
• Ensure infection control, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to the healthcare team to maintain care quality.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and performance improvement activities.
