Job summary

Mercy Medical Center Redding is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, high-quality care, perform skilled procedures, and develop individualized care plans within an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting. The role requires an Associate of Arts in nursing, a CA RN license, BLS/CPR, and ACLS, as well as one year of recent hospital experience.

Pay range shown is $54.43 - $73.98 per hour, reflecting California market rates for RNs.

Qualifications

Associate of Arts in nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
One year recent hospital experience and/or previous nursing practice, upon hire and
Registered Nurse: CA, upon hire and
Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire

Responsibilities

Performs routine physical/psychosocial assessment to collect basic data and follow the plan of care.
Formulates a plan of care for individual needs and participates in routine transitional health care planning.
Adapts education to patient and family and integrates teaching during care delivery.
Ensures efficiency in care delivery and identifies immediate priorities and solutions.
Makes independent clinical decisions based on education and experience.
Advocates for patient rights and seeks resolutions to conflicts.
