Job summary

Yale New Haven Health seeks a Neuro Telemetry Technician responsible for continuous and retrospective surveillance of neurophysiologic data, including EEG recordings, with emphasis on accuracy, event annotation, and escalation when needed.

The role supports clinical operations and approved research activities, uses basic EEG knowledge, and contributes to protocol-directed projects after orientation and competency validation. Requires a bachelor's degree and EEG experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related scientific/clinical field.
• Formal neuroscience/neurophysiology coursework.
• Completion of a recognized neurodiagnostic/clinical neurophysiology program.
• GCP and HIPAA training.
• Experience with EEG data collection or review systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous surveillance of neurophysiologic recordings and related data per established protocols.
• Annotate predefined events with time synchronization and relevant details.
• Escalate suspected clinical events or data quality issues to the appropriate team.
• Conduct retrospective review and protocol-directed annotation for research/quality initiatives.
• Apply standardized annotation conventions and support data quality and reconciliation.
