Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a Neuromonitoring Specialist to set up, perform, troubleshoot and disconnect neuromonitoring modalities in critically ill patients. You will work with scalp EEG, tMEP, TCD, NIRS, MOBERG and invasive monitoring, ensuring data quality and timely reporting to physicians.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage equipment maintenance, supply inventory, and collaboration with care teams in a high-stakes Neuro ICU setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology program.
• Bachelors degree in a biological sciences field is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience performing neurodiagnostic procedures.
• Current neurodiagnostic credentials (e.g., REEGT/REPT/CNIM/RNCST/RPSGT).
• Current BLS certification; strong EMR skills (Epic/Infor).

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily rounds for neuro ICU patients and perform neuromonitoring procedures as ordered.
• Acquire data from TCDs, NIRS, MOBERG, and invasive multimodality monitoring.
• Discontinue monitoring per orders and document relevant details.
