Job summary

FHE Health is seeking a Neuro Assistant to join the Neurosciences team in Deerfield Beach, FL. The role involves delivering BioBed-based self-regulation support to patients in an inpatient setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to address mood and substance use issues.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong patient-care skills, and the ability to build rapport with patients. CPR and CPI training are preferred and welcomed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Positive, professional demeanor and ability to follow directions.
• Ability to work with staff and patients throughout shifts.
• Ability to develop rapport with patients and encourage engagement in Neuroscience services.
• Knowledge of addiction and recovery preferred.
• Experience in a substance abuse or mental health treatment setting preferred.
• CPR Certification
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and work independently or as part of a team.
• Deliver BioBed services for self-regulation using biofeedback techniques.
• Support patients in an inpatient residential setting to address mood and substance use issues.
