Job summary

FHE Health is seeking a dedicated Neuro Assistant to join the Neurosciences team in Deerfield Beach, FL. You will deliver BioBed services for self-regulation in an inpatient setting, working closely with clinicians to address mood and substance use issues.

Ideal candidates have patient care experience, CPR and CPI familiarity, and a professional, compassionate demeanor to support patients throughout their treatment journey.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification required or preferred.
• CPI training preferred or required.
• Experience in patient care or healthcare setting desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide BioBed services for self-regulation in an inpatient setting.

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is looking to join the cutting-edge Neurosciences team at FHE Health. I f you're a dedicated, empathetic, and skilled mental health professional looking for an opportunity to grow and innovate, we’d love to meet you!

What You'll Do

• The Neuro Assistant interacts with patients, works independently and as part of a team, delivers BioBed services for self-regulation skills utilizing biofeedback techniques.
• Patients receive this care in an inpatient residential setting and work closely with the Neuro Assistant to learn to address mood and substance abuse issues.
• Candidates should be comfortable with a patient care environment, have some experience in a medical, treatment, or therapeutic environment working with patients/clients for health services.

What You Need

• A high school degree is required with some patient care experience.
• Successful candidates will be positive, professional, able to follow directions, able to work with staff and patients throughout their shift.
• Ability to develop rapport and encourage patients in receiving Neuroscience services and treatment in general.
• Knowledge of addiction and recovery preferred
• Experience in a substance abuse or mental health treatment setting (preferred but not required).
• CPR Certification
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
