Job summary

FHE Health in Deerfield Beach, FL is seeking a full-time Neuro Assistant to support the Neuroscience team. You will interact with patients, deliver BioBed services for self-regulation, and work both independently and as part of a collaborative clinical team.

The role requires a high school diploma and some patient care experience; CPR and CPI certifications are preferred. Candidates should be compassionate, professional, and capable of building rapport with patients to address mood and substance

Qualifications

• A high school degree is required with some patient care experience.
• Positive, professional, able to follow directions, and able to work with staff and patients.
• Knowledge of addiction and recovery is preferred; CPI and CPR certifications are valued.

Responsibilities

• The Neuro Assistant interacts with patients, works independently and as part of a team, delivers BioBed services for self-regulation skills utilizing biofeedback techniques.
• Patients receive this care in an inpatient residential setting and work closely with the Neuro Assistant to learn to address mood and substance abuse issues.
• Candidates should be comfortable with a patient care environment, have some experience in a medical, treatment, or therapeutic environment working with patients/clients for health services.
