Valley Health is seeking a Registered Nurse II in the Neuro Surgical unit for a full-time third shift. The RN will apply the nursing process, lead care teams, and participate in safety initiatives to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualified candidates hold an ASN/ADN (BSN preferred), an active RN license, and BLS; prior leadership and unit-specific competencies support eligibility for charge roles and professional growth.

Qualifications

• RN license required and BLS certification required (AHA).
• ASN/ADN degree; BSN preferred for advancement.
• Experience per unit requirements and professional practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, and evaluation.
• Provide patient/family teaching, quality and safety initiatives, and teamwork.
• Coordinate and direct activities of health team personnel; assume charge nurse duties.
• Maintain required competencies and communicate with Director/Designee.
